  Leslie has taught me so much about being a successful stylist and entrepreneur.  I have learned how to build my brand and be successful within the hair industry.  She has taught me how to find your strength, your talent and build on it,  and stay true to yourself.  She also poured out an abundance of knowledge about being a stylist behind the chair and also being a stylist/business owner.  Working under Leslie I learned that you have to love and care about what you do,  and if you do that, it shows through your work. From the moment I started working with Leslie I saw that she had a passion for hair,  for healthy hair.    After the first couple of clients that I witnessed in her chair I then knew that I wanted to specialize in healthy hair also.  She has challenged me and helped me challenge myself.  I am still using the knowledge and tools today.  I am embarking on new adventures within the hair industry and I know that I am equipped to overcome any challenges that may arise. I am currently living in Greenville, North  Carolina where I am a Stylist at Hair Network of Winterville, North Carolina under Mary Newton.    I have taken the skills and the knowledge that I have learned under Leslie Price and I must say that I have put them to use. It has been an honor to have worked and been mentored under Leslie Price.

  Jovanni’s “We're so good, we’re bad” was the motto for one of the most innovative salons I have had the pleasure to work in under the entrepreneurship of Mrs. Leslie Price. Her creativity as a stylist and her savvy business sense set the pace for an electrifying and energizing atmosphere for beautifying our clients. Her upbeat and encouraging attitude brought confidence to all that came into the salon either as a client or a stylist. She always motivated us to do our best and to be creative in our styling artistry. “I can’t” was never in her vocabulary but “you can do it” was always heard from her.  I appreciated her views on life and business. Les is a visionary that never sees an obstacle but an avenue to do something different from the norm.   I worked with Lez from 2006 to 2009 and at the time I didn't realize how much she impacted my life. It wasn't until we parted ways that I realized what a treasure she was to my life and the decisions that I would choose to make later in life. She challenged me mentally, spiritually and financially. Her wisdom encouraged me beyond the chair, it woke up the sleeping giants in me and told me that “I can be more than what I see" and "I'm worth more than how I feel."  

    Often times in her pushing me to be more, it produced anger, hurt, tears, joy and more in me but it was all done to help me grow, mature and become effective in my life’s journey. You never fully understand all that a person imparts into you until they are no longer around you and in life’s chaos you can hear their voice of wisdom in the back of your mind pushing you, teaching you and helping along the way.  For that, I am grateful to have had the opportunity to come in contact with such a phenomenal woman.
